Find out how to enable screen recording in your Android device.

This is an Android 11 feature, but If you have a phone that can screen record even without Android 11, it’s possible your device may already be able to do this.

In this article, we'll cover how to record your screen using Android 11 or newer.

1. Swipe down on your device’s screen to expand the notifications menu, then swipe down once more to access the Quick Settings.

2. Swipe right through the Quick Settings shortcuts to find the “Screen Record” button, then tap it.

3. On the next screen, make sure to enable Microphone recording:

4. Tap “Start” when you’re ready to record, right after you read the test's scenario. A small red recording icon will show in the top-right of your screen, indicating that your screen is being recorder.

5. To stop and save the recording, swipe down to visualize the notification panel, then press the red “Tap to stop” banner. The video will be saved on your device.

6. Screen recordings are saved to your device’s existing media folder and can be found with the file manager or in the Google Photos app under Library > Movies.

7. Upload to Conversion Crimes once you've finished your test.
