You will never be required to give away personal information during a study, unless the study requirements specify that previously.

You can always use a temporary e-mail address at https://temp-mail.org/ if you must verify the e-mail during a test's sign up process.

If you feel a study has asked for personal information and didn't specify that in extra requirements, it's okay to quit the test and contact support. In the case of a study whose requirements were misrepresented, we will still compensate you 50% of the study's amount.
